Hollywood Floor to Ceiling Cat Tower

The Hollywood  Tower is a contemporary modular cat tree system for your home.

We have designed two riser kit shapes that can be alternated and combined in many ways to create a unique spiral staircase or abstract tree for an exceptional cat climbing, playing, and napping experience.  Our system is built around the IKEA  wardrobe line; chosen for their quality and in order to keep shipping costs as low possible for all customers.

We provide the RISERS and PLATFORMS and you add in the Elvarl Pole and  mounting clamps to your order at the same price you would pay at Ikea

The  pole height Elvarl Pole can be adjusted 82 5/8 inches to 129 7/8 inches to accommodate most floor-to-ceiling heights; the product already comes with brackets in case you prefer to wall mount the pole.

All of our products are handmade in California by very talented cat loving people, using excellent sustainable materials. The KITS are available in three environmentally friendly wood stain colors. Choose a wood stain (dark walnut, flat black or bleached white); then choose one of our 6 beautiful carpet tile colors to create your own personal customized cat tree adding a functional accent to your room. The beautiful, durable and sustainable carpet tiles are provided by FLOR carpets. Every wood riser has nicely rounded corners that are sanded smooth and topped with carpets that prevent your cat from slipping when climbing, jumping or napping. The cat tree can be easily moved within minutes to a different location within your house or the balcony to offer your cats exciting new experiences.

• KIT 1 comes with 3  SMALL RISERS in your choice of wood stain and carpet color. Each Kit creates one full rotation on the spiral staircase to allow you cat to climb further up from the ground. The Kit includes all the bolts and mounting supplies needed to assemble the Hollywood Franklin Tower, as well as a detailed illustrated instruction manual. Please note your choice of carpet color when placing an order!

Each riser requires ONE Ikea Stolmen mounting clamp (Article Number: 301.799.54) (excluded from KIT 1) to be attached the pole.  Customer must order this from Ikea.

• KIT 2 comes with 1 MEDIUM PLATFORM in your choice of wood stain and carpet color. The Kit includes all the bolts and mounting supplies needed to assemble the Hollywood Franklin Tower, as well as a detailed illustrated instruction manual. Please note your choice of carpet color when placing an order!

Each large platform requires ONE Ikea Stolmen mounting clamp (Article Number: 301.799.54) (excluded from KIT 2) to be attached the pole.  Customer must order this from Ikea.

Finished or Unfinished

Each kit can be ordered in your choice of finishes, or, in unfinished MDF finishes that you can stain in your choice of stain.   Stain and glue not included in the unfinished kits.

We recommend mounting the risers and platforms between 5 and 6 inches apart in offer your cat the best climbing experience possible. The reference pictures show a setup of 3 x KIT 1 (total of 9 small risers) and 2 x KIT 2 (total of 2 large platforms). Cats love climbing and observing the environment they live in; the higher they can climb up the happier they feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Kits do I need to order if I want the exact same Hollywood Franklin Tower shown on the images on our website?

You will need to order 3 x Kit 1 (= total of 9 small steps), 1 x Kit 2 (= 1 medium platform) and 2 x Kit 3 (= total of 2 large platforms)

How far apart should I space the steps and platforms?

5.5 ñ 6 inches

Are the carpet pieces that come with the D.I.Y. Kits already cut or do I have to cut them by myself?

They are already cut and simply need to be attached to the steps!

Can I order the Ikea parts directly from Ikea only shop?

Yes, you can. Ikea will ship them directly to your home.

What can I do if my cat tree assembly is slightly spinning and not fastened completely?

This ìspinning inches sometimes occurs when the pole is not tightened enough. We would recommend to first insert the threaded rod at the base of the pole as far as possible. Then ñ with the help of a second person ñ extend the two counter locking pole pieces as far as possible so they will basically stand already by itself and tightly lock them.

At the end extent the threaded rod at the base as far as you can; until the whole assemble stands securely and please donít forget to use the counter locking nut at the base to keep the setup securely in place.
